Neal Caffrey, a con-man, forger and thief, is captured after a three-year game of cat and mouse with the FBI. With four months left while serving a four-year sentence, he escapes from a maximum-security federal prison to find Kate, his ex-girlfriend. Peter Burke, the FBI agent who initially captured Caffrey, finds him and returns Caffrey to prison. This time, Caffrey gives Burke information about evidence in another case; however, this information comes with a price: Burke must have a meeting with Caffrey. At this meeting, Caffrey proposes a deal: he will help Burke catch other criminals as part of a work-release program. Burke agrees, after some hesitation. Through the successful apprehending of several white-collar criminals, Caffrey has proven to Burke that he will help him, and that he will not try to escape again. This begins an unconventional but successful partnership.

Uma das mais típicas séries de verão regressou e continua em boa forma, é uma série bem ao estilo do canal USA, sem grandes dramas, temas pesados e grandes complicações, é uma série que se vê muito bem nesta altura.

não é bem uma série de verão, porque é transmitida todo ano. Já vi 8 episódios desta 3ª temporada continuo a gostar, deixa sempre grandes expectativas para os próximos episódios

Confesso que não gostei muito deste inicio de temporada. Acho que o rumo que a personagem principal tomou não tem muito a ver com a evolução que teve ao longo das outras temporadas.

Série renovada para uma quarta temporada:

USA renews 'White Collar' for fourth season

USA Network has reupped "White Collar," ordering 16 episodes for a fourth season.
The Gotham-based skein from Fox Television Studios continues to be a hit for the basic cabler. This summer it averaged 5.7 million total viewers, including 2.5 million in the 18-49 demo.

Production on the fourth season will begin in 2012. The second half of the third season (six episodes) will likely air early next year.

Matt Bomer stars as a charming conman who works with an FBI agent played by Tim DeKay. Jeff Eastin is creator and exec produces with Mark Goffman.

USA, which had a strong summer overall, recently ordered a second season of rookie show "Suits" and announced that the fifth season of Mary McCormack starrer "In Plain Sight" would be its last.

"We're thrilled to offer our viewers another season that promises some of the best writing in television, unexpected twists and generous helpings of America's favorite bromance," said USA Network co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber.
