Lindsay Price Joins Eastwick Cast

"Lipstick Jungle" star Lindsay Price has been cast as one of the trio of witches in ABC's drama pilot "Eastwick," which is based on the 1987 feature The Witches of Eastwick.

The Warner Bros.-produced "Eastwick" follows three young witches who come into their powers. Price will play one of them, Joanna, a hardworking, shy reporter for the local newspaper. She joins Jaime Ray Newman, who was recently cast as a fellow witch.

Price's casting on "Eastwick" is formally in second position to "Jungle," which has not been cancelled. The show, which wrapped its second season, has developed a passionate fan base but has lagged in the ratings.

Digam que a série é light, básica, o que quiserem. A verdade é que tem sido um óptimo acompanhamento para os meus fins de dia. Sim, está cancelada e só chegará aos 13 episódios, mas pronto. Eu cá gosto!

Eu também estava a gostar muito. Acho que o elenco era bastante bom e a série era engraçada, mesmo light, tinha charme e divertia. Tive muita pena do cancelamento mas não vou perder tempo a ver o resto dos episódios até porque aparentemente a maior parte das histórias não terá um final:

Adding insult to injury, the network pulled the plug so abruptly that Friedman won’t have a chance to tweak the 13th episode to give fans any of that magical closure stuff. “We’re smack in the middle of several insanely juicy stories,” Friedman sighs. “And so we do not get a chance to wrap things up in a bow. Which is killing me.”
