Não sei que parte de "template" e outline" não é clara, mas ter um esboço e uma estrutura é muito diferente de ter um argumento. Basicamente ele deve saber que o filme irá de A a C passando por B mas ainda é preciso preencher esse esqueleto.

Ele não disse que tinha feito o "template" ou o "outline" (parafraseando-te). O que ele disse é que nos filmes dele TEM SEMPRE um template, e uma ideia já pré-definida, para dar aos argumentistas, e que é a partir destes que eles escrevem o argumento. Neste caso concreto foi ele a pegar nessa ideia pré-definida e desenvolvê-la (não havia argumentista).

O pormenor dos tempos verbais é importante "We HAVE" e "I WORKED ON THAT"
O "outline" ele já tinha. Trabalhou foi sobre ele.

Em 3-D?

The "2008 ShoWest Edition" of the Dolby newsletter (in PDF format) has a list of upcoming 3-D releases and includes Transformers 2 (as well as Steven Spielberg's Tintin). We're hearing that, although it's on the list, the sequel is not a lock yet for a 3-D release. A final decision will be made based on the availability of Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D screens. The big problem facing the Transformers sequel is that Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs comes out just five days later and would rule out a majority of the Digital 3-D screens.

In related news, director Michael Bay has confirmed on his message board that he has cast Aussie actress Isabel Lucas for the role of "Alice" in the sequel.

MTV talked to IDW Publishing, which is working on a five-part prequel miniseries to Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen titled "Transformers: Destiny" that will bridge the gap between the first and second movie. What IDW Publishing says confirms the rumor that "The Fallen" in the title is indeed the villain:

"[We're going to] explore the background of The Fallen — the main villain of the movie — as well as expand on the 'Reign of Starscream' story that we're doing and tie everything in to what this next movie is going to be," explained writer Chris Mowry, who partners on the book with artist Alex Milne. "The next movie starts out with just tons of action and there’s obviously going to be a lot of questions, so we’re hoping to answer some of those beforehand."

Teaser Trailer... parece que vai ser mais um blockbuster de verão.... mas pelo teaser ja me pus a rever o 1º do qual gostei bastante...

Neste teaser já dá para ver alguns dos novos decepticons (não sou fã dos autobots) especialmente o Ravage... (curiosidade para ver se vão fazer o raio do Bicho em K7 e a sair de dentro do Soundwave como nos cartoons)...

Isso vai ser impossível, já que o Soundwave vai ter a forma duma nave "cybertroniana". Em parte é lógica essa mudança (mas pelo que já vi, há uma encarnação do Soundwave que se transforma num avião), já que a ideia do Transformer leitor de cassetes foi usada no primeiro filme com o Frenzy a transformar-se num rádio com leitor de cd portátil. Não inviabiliza é que o Ravage possa fazer parte, mesmo assim dele (tal como o Scorponok era parte do helicóptero).
