Exacto, também compreendo. Alias foi sempre uma coisa que nunca me encaixou bem, foi os uniformes... Tirando o Roschard (e o Dr. Manhattan é claro, que nem uniforme têm ), acho os restantes talvez muito exagerados e futuristas para o tempo da acção (anos 80). Sempre tive em ideia aqueles uniformes simples, 'velhos' e 'sujos'.

Compreendo bem, mas isso é daquelas coisas onde se tem que apresentar um compromisso. O fato do Ozimandias e do Nite-Owl II, são os que mais alterações sofreram e compreende-se bem porquê: simplesmente algumas coisas não funcionariam tão bem. Mas sendo Watchmen também um pouco de auto-análise ao meio de onde saiu, o filme acaba por equivaler na mesma medida às outras produções do género (o fato do Ozimandias faz lembrar os excessos dos anos 90, a anatomia esculpida quase homo-erótica de muitos filmes de super-heróis).

Gosto da "reinvenção" do fato do Nite-Owl II. E ponho "" porque mesmo assim, comparando as duas versões (comic vs. filme), é praticamente igual, com umas poucas diferenças.

Yahoo! Movies has announced that it will debut the new trailer for director Zack Snyder's Watchmen online on Thursday, 11/13 at 5pm PT, so be sure to stay tuned. If you missed the six new character banners, those are also still available here.

Opening in conventional theaters and IMAX on March 6th, the R-rated Warner Bros. release stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie and Matt Frewer.

Watchmen Running Time Gets Shortened

Last we heard (in October), Watchmen had a running time of 2 hours and 43 minutes. Well apparently is has gotten shorter. Sci-Fi reports that the current running time is two hours and 35 minutes, and the studio has yet to approve that cut. But fans shouldn’t worry as I wouldn’t expect the film to get that much shorter. I predict the film will end up around two and a half hour.

The eventual directors cut will be clock in at three hours and 10 minutes in length. Zack Snyder says that it has “even more than the theatrical version as far as the detail that gets even closer to the graphic novel.” But hardcore fans will have to wait for what Snyder is calling the “huge epic version” which will incorporate a 20-minute animated adaptation of The Black Freighter, bringing the total running time to three hours and 40 minutes.

Ou seja, só lá para o final do próximo ano é que veremos tudo, pois tenho quase a certeza que primeiro os estúdios põem no mercado a versão de cinema e só muito depois, para obterem mais uns trocos, é que editam a versão especial.

Fox wins ruling in 'Watchmen' case
Judge finds in favor of studio

A Los Angeles federal judge has ruled that 20th Century Fox owns the distribution rights to "Watchmen," representing a setback for Warner Bros.' plans to release the pic in March.

“Fox owns a copyright interest consisting of, at the very least, the right to distribute the ‘Watchmen’ motion picture,” the ruling said.

Judge Gary Allen Feess issued the surprise ruling Wednesday -- a week after setting a Jan. 20 trial date for Fox's suit -- and indicated he would issue a more detailed ruling soon. Warner spokesman Scott Rowe declined to comment.

Warner Bros. has not backed off a release date of March 6 for "Watchmen," directed by Zack Snyder and starring Patrick Wilson and Jackie Earle Haley.

Fox filed the suit in February, contending it retains distribution rights to the graphic novel penned by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons.

The suit asserts that producer Lawrence Gordon's option to acquire Fox's remaining interest in "Watchmen" was never exercised, thereby leaving Fox with its rights under a 1994 turnaround agreement. Warner Bros. has denied Fox's assertions and contended Fox doesn't hold the copyright.

Fox originally acquired the rights to "Watchmen" in the late 1980s and spent more than $1 million developing the project, which later went to Universal and then Paramount before landing at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures.

Já no 300 me irritou profundamente, e este trailer já me assusta por isso mesmo.

Por acaso tenho reparado que há muitos trailers que usam e abusam dos slow-motion. Vejam o recente Wolverine do Gavin Hood, e este realizador não é conhecido por usar slow-motion. Há trailers também que abusam nos cortes rápidos, no entanto não quer dizer que o filme tenha este ritmo.
