James Mangold junta Russel Crowe e Christian Bale no remake do western de 1957.

Lionsgate Boards 3:10 to Yuma

Lionsgate has boarded Russell Crowe and Christian Bale-starrer 3:10 to Yuma, signing a deal to distribute the film in the U.S. The movie is a remake of the 1957 Western toplining Glenn Ford. It is set to start shooting next month.

Lionsgate struck the high-profile deal with Ryan Kavanaugh's Relativity Media, which decided to finance the $70 million film after Sony put the project into turnaround earlier in the summer, forcing director James Mangold and producing partner (and wife) Cathy Konrad to look elsewhere for money.

Lionsgate will spend a minimum of $30 million on prints and advertising. Generally speaking, the indie studio only spends $15 million-$20 million on wide releases.

Stuart Beattie, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas wrote the script. The storyline revolves around a desperado who is caught by a sheriff determined to bring the outlaw in. Sheriff's plans go awry when the desperado's accomplices stage an ambush.

O filme começa as filmagens para o próximo mês no Novo México.

Como não tinha visto o original, o suspense manteve-se até ao fim, um excelente duelo de interpretações, Crowe vs Bale, num Western há antiga.

Até o vilão, Ben Foster, está "fantasticamente mau".

Bem realizado, mantendo uma cadência interessante ao longo do filme.

A ver se vou ver este filme ao cinema no início do próximo ano, quando estrear in our country.

Apreciador do realizador Mangold, e também do Bale e Crowe. E tem a Gretchen Mol porreiro

eu não conheço o original, nem fazia ideia que isto era um remake, mas do que vi aqui tenho curiosidade em ver o original.
mto boas interpretações, a desenrolar-se mto bem e a prender a atenção até ao fim.

Vi-o hoje de manhã para brindar o novo ano, e por acaso bastante interessante este remake o bale e o crowe fazem uma boa parceria a realização também está bem conseguida.

mas ainda não saiu cá ?
vi o à uma semana em HD

Em relação ao filme, gostei, uma coboiada de gente grande :P
Não vi o original mas a historia é muito boa, twists e mais twists

Caracterização bem feita, só o bandido louro é que prontos, faltava-lhe uma cara de mais mau, mas memso assim é uma das muitas personagens características

Grande Russel Crow, bom papel para ele, mauzão mas bonzinho

Outro comentario, possivel spoiler, (para um coxo o gajo anda muito bem lol)
