É pena que não tenham sido fiéis à BD.

Pois, nem em termos de história (ui, "Secret Wars - The Movie") nem em termos de desenho (é pena - parece que não passa de uma versão preta do fato normal). Mas tb, pelo menos no primeiro aspecto, era impossivel introduzirem isso no filme. Podem é seguir as vias alternativas que utilizaram para a origem do Venom na série de desenhos animados do "Spiderman" ou da versão "Ultimate Spiderman" (para o fisico do Topher Grace, a última hipótese até era mais viável).

Venom appeared in the Spider-Man animated series. Despite the fact that he is a popular character, Venom was only featured in a handful of episodes before disappearing into a different realm. These episodes are the following:

* The Alien Costume, Part 1: John Jameson and a fellow astronaut discover a rock known as "Promethium X", which is said to be more powerful than plutonium. Unknown to the astronauts though, Promethium X also contains a mysterious element which manages to break free and tries to consume the two astronauts. The space shuttle crashes on the George Washington Bridge, near the Hudson River where the Rhino is sent by the Kingpin to steal the Promethium X. Spider-Man arrives on the scene and manages to save Jameson and his fellow astronaut, yet unknown to Spider-Man, Eddie Brock is on the bridge too, and takes photos of him (and the Rhino as well). However, when Jonah arrives on the scene, Eddie takes advantage of Jonah's hatred for the wall-crawler and frames Spider-Man for stealing something from the shuttle, which leads to a $1 million bounty on Spider-Man's head. However, Eddie fails to mention to have seen the Rhino at the scene also.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man emerges from the Hudson River and notices a black stain on his costume. When he falls asleep, the mysterious stain consumes his body and thus Peter Parker finds himself a new costume. Amazed at his new abilities, Peter Parker's life seems to be amazing with his new suit; that is until his loved ones and ultimately himself notice a disturbing change in his behavior.

In the Ultimate Marvel universe, Eddie Brock Jr. is Peter Parker's childhood friend. There is no symbiote, but instead, a genetically engineered protoplasmic "Suit" designed by their fathers. Richard Parker intended it to be used for medical purposes in his quest to cure cancer, but Eddie Brock Sr. was more interested in the military applications of the Suit.

Heh, fazerem um filme da Secret Wars é que era, se bem que aquilo tem uma história de chaxa, já que basicamento foi editada aenas para ajudar a vender uma linha de brinquedos.

Sendo assim, como o Argaroth01 escreveu, sobram algumas alternativas. Por um lado desde que o John Jameson apareceu no 2º filme que se tem falado em "copiarem" a origem da "animated series". Por outro, visto que já introduziram o Doc Connors também poderiam optar pela do "Ultimate". Resta saber qual será o papel dos Stacy nisto tudo. Já há algumt tempo que se fala qua a Kirsten Dunst (MJ) não voltará para um 4º filme. Será que a vão "despachar" neste filme, abrindo portas para a Gwen? Seria uma opção no mínimo arrojada... se bem que isso deixaria alguns puristas da Gwen no mínimo delirantes.

1.Does the GG look cool,how much green does he have on him,is his black snow suit have a black hood that covers the top of his head,do the belts on his legs hold pumpkin bombs,is his goggles yellow lens,does he wear gloves of any kind,and why does Harry go with this suit instead of the one his father used?

1. He looks cool as an individual idea. But again, nothing remotely goblin like about him except the weapons, glider and some green on him.
No hood, the belts hold two swords. One long one on his back, a smaller one on his right leg. Pumpkins bombs are in his glider. Goggles are black. Gloves are black. No idea why. Possible to make it more to his liking, a way to "improve".

2.Does Venom fight in this movie or does he just show up as a cliffhanger?

2. Yes he fights. Again, he will fight Spidey with Sandman at the end, the movie leads up to this "battle royale" at the construction site. GG will also join in the fight, but not on the sides of Ven/San.

3.Does Venom's veins have a purple color to it?

3. Not that I know of.

4.I'm kinda confused,does spidey wear the symbiote before Brock gets it?

4. Yes. After his date with MJ, the symbiote clings to his shoe and waits for Parker in his room one night. He then wakes up upside down on the side of a building wearing the symbiote costume.

5.If spidey does wear the symbiote,what does it look like exactly?

5. The same costume as blue/red only black with all the scale detail and webbing over it. Not impressive.

6.And how long does he wear the suit?

6. Not sure since the movies hasnt been peices together. But right now a good chunk since the movie is about Peter and how the symbiote possesses him, and the decisions he has to make.

7.Who does he fight with it?

7. Sandman, robbers, and Harry

8.What makes him take it off?

8. Bell Tower.

9.Does the Sandman ever turn his hands into a mace?

9. No idea. Sledgehammer is all i know.

10.Where do all the fights take place on/at?

10. All over. In the air/Alley, underground subway, armoured truck in the streets, construction site.

11.Is there a cliffhanger at the end of this movie?

11. Not currently. But there is one scene that leaves questions opened about the return of the symbiote.

12.Who does Bruce Campbell play?

12. Dont know.

13.Where does the symbiote come from?

13. An asteroid.

14.Does spidey wear his regular red and blue spidey suit in the movie?

14. Yes.

15.Is S-M3 and S-M4 being made back to back?

15. Nope. We wish we had the budget for that.

16.Is Venom going to be the villain for S-M4,or is S-M3 going to be it for him?

16. End of the line for Brocks version of Venom, but not the symbiote itself.

17.Is there lots of fights/action in this movie?

17. TONS. 4 BIG fight sequences. All very fun, and clever. Wont be disappointed in that department.

Esta versão está muito mas mesmo muito melhor. Muito mais fiel à BD. Aquela versão supostamente original é muito mazinha. Parece que pegaram na anterior e pintaram de preto e prateado.

A cada diz que passa surgem mais interrogações sobre este filme e tenho de confessar que apesar de continuar a confiar no Sam Raimi, começo a ficar de pé atrás acerca deste filme.
Dá-me a sensação que o Sam Raimi tenciona abandonar o franchise com este terceiro filme e assim está a tentar enfiar tudo o que mais gosta, e que ainda não teve oportunidade de incluir nos anteriores filmes, neste terceiro filme. Green Goblin, Venon e Sandman? 3 vilões? Não vejo como vão conseguir desenvolver decentemente estas 3 personagens e ainda ter os habituais combates. Ainda por cima Gwen metida ao barulho, e sem esquecer a MJ... enfim... deve ser um filme de 3 horas, estão na moda. Cá esperamos para ver...

Bem, o pessoal já estava pouco confuso, então com essas fotos (refiro-me à foto do T. Maguire com o fato preto debaixo da roupa)... no entanto com elas também terminaram de vez as dúvidas sobre o Topher Grace ser ou não o Eddie Brock.

Four Spider-Man 3 Villains!

Former Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad may have let a big one out of the bag when talking to IFMagazine.com. He says there are four villains in Spider-Man 3!

iF: There are four villains this time, Venom, Sandman, and Green Goblin and when is the fourth going to be revealed?

ARAD: Right we have four villains. Pretty soon [we'll reveal the fourth villain] I believe. Maybe around Comic Con we'll reveal something and the madness will begin.

Four villains – it’s like Sam Raimi wants to compete with X-Men: The Last Stand. Who could this baddie be? We heard rumors of the Vulture way back when, but they were dismissed – what if the Vulture is an opening act villain, someone who Spidey gets out of the way quickly? And what if that’s used to set up the photojournalist rivalry between Eddie Brock and Peter Parker? I’m just spitballing here, by the way, but it seems to me that unless they have a major actor under wraps over at the Spidey set, the fourth mystery villain will have to be essentially a glorified cameo.

Edit! Thanks to my good friend Andre Dellamorte for reminding me that Dylan Baker has played Dr. Curt Conners for the last two films - a character who becomes the Lizard in Marvel Comics. I would say that it's quite likely to be him after all.
