DV-Depot. Alguém tem experiência?

Boas!

Preciso comprar uns dvd's de zona um. Andei a pesquisar e encontrei esta loja. Os preços são muitos bons, fazem envios DHL e UPS relativamente em conta. O senão é que está sediada no canadá, mas será que mandando vir por UPS posso ter problemas na alfandega? Alguém tem experiência com esta loja? Conhecem?
E lojas de R1 sediadas no uk, alguem pode recomendar por favor?

Em relação ao Depot existe aqui bastante gente que já usou/usa, mas vê nos foruns deles, actuais e antigos, sobre os envios DHL e ficarás elucidado.

Eu comprei lá dezenas, ou mesmo centenas de DVD's. Mas isso foi há já uns anos valentes. Os tipos fizeram umas coisas que não me cairam bem, e deixei completamente de comprar lá.

Não me ocorre mais nenhuma que valha a pena.

Amigo, por mandarem por UPS, na minha óptica, os problemas alfandegários multiplicam-se.

Entretanto, podes usar a dvdimport.com, no Canadá, mas à partida sem problemas. De preferência encomendar 1 DVD de cada vez (esperar mesmo até receber o primeiro - e isto aplica-se a rtodas as lojas que indiquei, até porque os portes são grátis)

Exactamente. Antigamente a DV-Depot tinha um esquema com a DHL que conseguia passar mas a partir de uma certa altura deixou de funcionar. Pouco depois como o RR disse alteraram o funcionamento das coisas o que me desgostou um pouco porque também gostava da loja e era um cliente assíduo.

Mas existem outras alternativas mais seguras como aquelas indicadas acima.

Um conselho se não quiseres pagar taxas não envies por transportadora, é que além de ser mais caro, acaba por ficar ainda mais caro com a visita dos nossos amigos ali da alfa do aeroporto.

Quantities are very limited and everything is being sold on a first come , first served basis..

With this re-opening we are implementing a number of permanent changes:

A- The ability to prepay discs will be discontinued - There is no advantage for you to prepay - Anyone wishing to use the prepay option as a budgeting tool, has the ability to make a payment directly into your Depot account, to be used whenever you wish against any future checkout.

B- All airmail is being dropped - We will only be offering trackable fast courier - as before, you'll have the choice of either UPS or DHL - During this current sale, there will be no changes in the rates.

C- We are dropping Depot Dollars - We will of course, honour any that you have earned in the past, but will not giving out anymore on any new purchases - This is a good opportunity to use those Depot Dollars and pick up some OOP discs..;)

During this current sale, we will not be bringing in any new titles - This will only happen if and when we decide to return to offering a full product line. At present, we are taking things one day at a time and will only make promises that we can keep.

We are deeply grateful for all your kind words and support that you have expressed in our forums and via emails. It's been a joy seeing some of you who haven't been in the forums before.

We have spent the past week in discussions with all of our business partners - they are giving us their full support and are doing what they can to work with us.

On the full relaunch meter, the needle is pointing in the green, under the sooner than later section..:)

O site entrou em "reformulação" na semana passada:

To All Our Valued Depot Customers

It comes with sincere sadness to have to announce that the main Depot site will be restructuring starting today for an indefinite period of time.

This decision has become necessary due to a steady decline in business and corresponding profit levels over the past 18 months. Our main business is no longer financially viable. Our motto from day one was always about customer service - to offer the things that no other DVD retailer did. The drop in profits has forced us to slowly reduce our performance, to a level that we are no longer satisfied with.

The main site has been turned off for a few days - we are taking a full inventory and when complete, the main site will reopen. If you have checked out an order, these will be completed and shipped. For the forseeable future, we will not be bringing in any more new releases or catalog product.

If you have prepaid a disc, you can either refund the title yourself and the money will go into your Depot account. Should you wish a refund back to your credit card, please open a support ticket and this will be done.

We still have lots of stock in all genres - every title including rare out of print titles will be put on sale - details will be announced when we reopen in a few days..

We recently streamlined the Adult Depot operation and this will continue to remain open as it currently is. The Adult site will grow over time as profits allow.

The decision to restructure our main site was a tough one - but we are doing it today so that we can do this with our heads held high - so that no employee, supplier or customer will lose any money - and we can end this phase of the Depot with a sense of accomplishment by all the employees..

All indications point to a continuing drop in business - I am though, cautiously optimistic that once high definition DVD comes that we'll see a resurgence in DVD sales - when it comes, we'll reassess things and decide whether to relaunch our main site with a fresh start.

We were really hoping to re-launch today April 1, but ran into a logistical hiccup which has set the re-opening back to sometime next week..

A Axelmusic não me parece má, mas perante a existêncida da CdWow quem é que poderá dar preferência a esta loja? Os preços são mais elevados e a CdWow é uma referência no mercado. Calitas... futuramente este tipo de questões devem aparecer num tópico próprio e não enfiadas num tópido dedicado a outra loja.

A Axelmusic é uma boa loja e são muito simpáticos tb, respondem sempre. Eu acho é os preços pró carotes, só mesmo algumas promoções é que valem a pena.

E Parece-me que a Axelmusic tem muito melhor oferta que a CD-Wow, em termos de catálogo. Pelo menos, há uns tempos tinha.

Se se estivesse à procura de algo mais fora do vulgar (ou mesmo dentro do vulgar), a Cd-wow era um bocado limitada.
