Calma...não batam mais no ceguinho...obviamente não perceberam a minha intenção e também não me vou dar ao trabalho de a explicar (não sou muito dado a discussões por isso vou apagar o post de cima)....e não, não me estava a rir do facto de a senhora ter morrido, mas se foi isso que perceberam peço muita desculpa se vos ofendi.

O novo filme de Mel Gibson, entitulado The Passion of Christ, ainda não estreiou e já se tornou alvo de polémicas. Primeiro porque é falado em Latim, segundo porque é brutal nas cenas em que Jesus Cristo é crucificado e mais outras coisas que só mesmo nos Eua é que acontecem. Não vou opinar sobre o filme, porque nem sequer vi o trailer do filme, mas penso que vai causar tamanha polémica, como causou A Última Tentação de Cristo do Martin Scorcese, onde era levada ao extremo as tentações carnais de Jesus Cristo... veremos como é que este se safa.

No film set exists without its share of gags and accidents, even the filming of Mel Gibson's crucifixion epic.
Interloper Paul Ford got a transcript of scenes that may never make it onto the DVD edition.
(Translated from Aramaic and Latin)
Pontius Pilate (Hristo Shopov) stands with the scourged and thorn-crowne Jesus (James Caviezel) before a throng of Jews, all of whom shout for Christ's crucifixion. Pilate has a bowl of water brought to him so he can'wash his hands' of Christ's condemnation.
Assorted Jews: Crucify him!
Pontius Pilate: I am innocent of the blood of this just - [knocks over bowl of water, which spills down steps] oh, [bleep].
Jesus Christ: [smiling] Good one, Hristo.
Pilate: Nice crown, Jim.
Assorted Jews: [laughter]
Off Camera: Cut!
* * *
Christ, shackled to a stone, is being scourged by Roman soldiers. Blood runs down his gory back. His pain is palpable.
Jesus: [writhes in pain, hands shaking]
[Cell phone rings.]
Jesus: [hands shake furiously]
[Cell phone rings. Caviezel looks up, sheepish.]
Roman soldier: Jim? That you?
Jesus: Yeah.
[Cell phone rings.]
Soldier: Want me to get it?
Jesus: Yeah.
[Roman soldier gingerly reaches into Caviezel's blood-soaked loincloth, pulls out phone and opens it, then holds the phone to Caviezel's ear.]
Off Camera: [laughter]
Jesus: Hey, Mom.

The Last Supper. Jesus is in the upper room with his disciples. Judas
(Luca Lionello) is seated nearby.
Jesus: If the world hate you, ye know that it
hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world - ah, Christ.
Judas: Hateth you.
Jesus: Who's on first, right?
Judas: [laughs]
Jesus: [rolls eyes at camera] John could write gospel, but, you know,
could he write dialogue?
Off Camera: [laughter] Cut!

Jesus carries a heavy wooden cross throughJerusalem, assisted by Simon (Jarreth Merz).
Jesus: Wait a second. [puts down cross]
Off Camera: What is it?
Jesus: [wipes right eye] There's something in my
eye
Simon: Oh my God, it's a mote.
Off Camera: [laughter]

Jesus hangs on the cross, bloodied, in agony.

Já vi o filme. Não resisti à tentação e lá o tirei da net (numa versão SVCD q quase parece um rip de DVD - impecável... só estraga é aos 10 minutos uma cabeça levantar-se do público).
Bom, começando pela polémica, se o filme é anti-semita eu sou o Pai Natal. É certo, o Sinédrio condenou Jesus, mas os romanos quase q parecem autênticas bestas humanas (é ver qdo colocam a coroa de espinhos ao Cristo, a cuspirem-lhe para cima e chamarem-no Rei dos Vermes). Só o mais controverso dos romanos, Pilatos, é q é apresentado de forma condescendente, muito indeciso.
Qto à violência gráfica do filme, foi mais o alarido do que realmente é. É certo q o filme não esconde a brutalidade, mas é o sofrimento do Cristo q pesa mais, e não o sangue.
Qto ao filme em si, tenho q dizer q este é até agora o meu filme preferido de 2004. O filme não vive de diálogos, até porque são escassos, mas da intensidade emocional q os personagens carregam nas suas acções e gestos. A parte que me tocou mais foi o momento da crucificação, aí mostrou-se a dimensão humana do personagem, longe da imagem estereotipada de super-homem q muita cinematografia pinta: ali estava um homem, carne e sangue como os outros. Realmente emotivo.
O personagem do Diabo é o mais interessante e tb o mais assustador. O ar andrógino (bela caracterização da actriz) e a voz davam-lhe um ar fantasmagórico.
O único senão é talvez a pouca contextualização dada para o tema da paixão, uma vez q o filme foca as últimas 12 horas com alguns flashbacks a ilustrarem o passado (q até introduz um pequeno toque de humor, qdo o Cristo acaba de fazer uma mesa alta para a qual vai fazer cadeiras ao q Maria responde: "Isso nunca vai pegar."). Um mal menor num grande filme.
