Leitores DVD - qual vale a pena...

as reviews wm todo o lado falam maravilhas do leitor. mas quem o comprou não.

vão ao avforums e outros por aí e leiam. Anda tudo a trocar agora pelo Denon AV11 - este é que é a maravilha do momento, até ver.

Para já já se descobriu que a ligação ilink não funciona com nenhum receiver que suporte ilink que não seja denon. e a denon ainda não lançou os seus...

denon 2900 disc freezing
bought this player 3 weeks ago and was happy until i played jungle book (original) region 2 and it froze 15 seconds into the film and does so every time. i tried the disc in the playstation my old tosh and my mates denon dvd700 and it plays perfectly. i borrowed a freinds copy of the film and it does exactly the same thing in my 2900. so i phoned my dealer today who spoke to denon, they told him that the disc was probably not up to industry standards, my dealer says it could be because the player has been region freed and that a replacement would be the same, so i was wondering if anybody on this forum that has a region free 2900 and a copy of jungle book could do a test and post the result. i would be most gratefull as i really like the denon but for £700 i want it play anything i throw at it

I had this prob with cinderella R2 but it only froze the once.....i stopped it...restarted the film and it was ok....but then it started freezing on CEOTTK R4.....Haydon did not want to know because it was a R4 film and should not be played on a region 2 machine, so i got my money back.

Am now trying to get a 2200, which is nearly the same machine, but from the bits i've read about it, it has a diff firmware....so hoping it might work better than the 2900.

Shame..as the 2900 is a brill machine.

ps. a friend has this player (R2 only) and Jungle Book, and it also freezes. So I don't think your disc's bad!

Como vêm é só clientes satisfeitos. De que servem as reviews neste caso? testam um disco, tá bom, fixe.
E com a Denon não podem dizer como a Sony, "vendem muito mais que os outros logo têm mais problemas"; porque a denon vende bem menos que a pioneer e a pioneer não tem problemas reportados em lado nenhum.

vá-se lá saber porquê.

E afinal de contas, qual o DVD que vale a pena??? vamos fazer uma lista: até 100€, até 250€. até 500€, até 1000€, até 2000€ e de 2000€ para cima. Que tal vos parece??? [:P]

Para mim o Denon 2900 é muito bom, em imagem não me vou pôr a mandar postas de pescada porque não percebo nada nem me interessa, agora em som acho que não é facil a nivel monetário equivalente arranjar competidor á altura, digo eu.
Acho que na Luz e Som não está nenhum senão até lhes pedia sem problema, o Xavi é que tem um na familia... ele é que pode ás vezes fazer de desbloqueador de teimas e parar esta revolta antes que eles arranquem as penas todas.

Em relação ao Runco, estava a brincar.

O que eu tinha curiosidade era no som da central. Se tinha ficado mais abafada ou se estava com o som "normal".

Tenho pena não haver um Denon no teste, pronto paciência.

Mal empregado Faroudja. Qual será o problema dele? será na saída DVI?
Não consigo encontrar nenhum teste a este leitor.
O preço quando saiu era por volta dos 500 € e já o encontrei à venda por 220 €.

Como já disse, já li reviews abonatórias sobre estes leitores (em baixo) mas como não ando própriamente todos os dias (nem mês a mês) a fazer audições a equipamentos pois não faço upgrades frequentemente encaro as reviews como ponto de partida para uma eventual restrição da escolha.

Se eu planeasse uma audição até leitores de por exemplo 500€ iria testar estes:

Onkyo SP-500 - aconselhado por vôs :)

Bolas...25 páginas. Só li algumas mas realmente parece ter diversos problemas, além da imagem não ser das melhores.
É pena porque nesta gama de preços as opções de leitores com saída DVI são poucas. Ainda acabo também por comprar um yamakawa.

Caros dvdmaniacos,

Obrigado pelas vossas opiniões.
Vou tentar ouvir o Onkyo DV-SP500/501.
O Philips 963A decerto parece uma boa opção, mas mais para video do que para som, que é o que mais me interessa.

E como num site alemão compra-se o onkyo 501 por 270 euros ou o 500 por 200....provavelmente sera a opcao mais em conta. O unico senao é que nao tem saida componentes, o que seria o ideal.
Os DVD com DVI nao servem de nada, porque tenho uma TV retroprojeccao que so tem ou SCART ou Componentes, por isso DVI é inútil para mim.
E não...não vou comprar um plasma tao cedo...:)

Vou esperar pelo megateste dvd na Imbicta para tirar mais teimas.
