Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) - Guillermo Del Toro
Hellboy 2" to film in autumn?
Fans raved about stylish comic book adaptation "Hellboy" so they‘ll be pleased to hear that it‘s all systems go for the sequel...
"I think we start shooting in the Fall" leading man Ron Perlman told EOnline – before hinting that a third film charting ‘Big Red‘s‘ adventures might even be on the cards.
"You know, you make them one at a time, but I would say that if there are more Hellboys in the future, then I‘m very blessed, because he‘s a guy I could play every day for the rest of my life and never grow tired of".

Aqui fica o comunicado oficial da Cartoon Network sobre a estreia da série animada Hellboy: Sword of Storms.
In the final days of World War II, a demon was summoned from the fiery depths of Hell to wage war. This child of darkness was rescued by the Allies. Dubbed Hellboy, he was raised to serve the cause of good versus evil. From the mind of Michael Mignola comes a new animated feature that continues the comic book and motion picture saga, Hellboy: Sword of Storms. The movie will air Saturday, Oct. 28, at 9:30 p.m. (ET, PT) during Toonami.
When a university professor opens a forbidden scroll, he is possessed by the twin demons of thunder and lightning who seek to return to the world to wake their brothers, the dragons. Hellboy, along with a folklore expert and a psychic, travels to Japan to investigate. There, Hellboy finds the sword of storms, the only weapon that can defeat the demons, and he is transported to a world where he encounters several creatures of Japanese folklore. He learns the sword is the only weapon that can defeat the demons, but it also holds the magic that will return them to Earth.
In Hellboy: Sword of Storms, several actors from the 2004 Guillermo del Toro-directed live-action movie lend their voices to this feature, including Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Selma Blair (Liz Sherman) and Doug Jones (Abe Sapien). Mike Mignola co-wrote the movies story. Phil Weinstein and Tad Stones direct the movie. Guillermo del Toro and Mike Mignola are creative producers. Hellboy: Sword of Storms is produced by Film Roman, a Starz Media Company and is distributed worldwide for television and on DVD/video by Starz Media, LLC. Starz Media, LLC has licensed all animation rights to the Hellboy franchise from Revolution Studios. In partnership with Revolution Studios, Film Roman is developing and producing animated content for television and home entertainment as well as a full range of integrated marketing applications across all categories.

WTF
Era o que faltava, Hellboy versão Van Helsing...

Link completo: http://movies.ign.com/articles/739/739203p1.htmlHellboy vs. Dracula vs. Frankenstein vs. The Mummy??
Scott Weinberg writes: "Mad Spanish genius Guillermo del Toro recently spent some time at the New York Film Festival, because his brilliant "Pan's Labyrinth" was playing there, and he took some time to ponder the idea of ... "Hellboy" vs. some old-school Universal monsters.
The exceedingly entertaining news comes from IGN.com: ""I must say that I'm having a great experience right now at Universal, because I find that their understanding of Hellboy as a possibility is so great," del Toro says. "My hope is that if everything goes well and we continue [the franchise], Hellboy can start fighting the Universal monsters! I would love to see that."
It's enough to make a fanboy faint. And del Toro also adds that he's not talking about designing new versions of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and the rest of Universal's stable of characters, ala Van Helsing, but rather recreating the classic Karloff/Lugosi/Chaney Jr./etc. classics of yesteryear.
"I would love to [go with the classic versions], I would love to," laughs the director, who says that Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon are his favorites. "[Hellboy creator Mike] Mignola, when we closed the deal with Universal, we both looked at each other and just said, 'Frankenstein!'""
