As anticipated, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment officially announced today the Blu-ray release of Star Wars for September 2011. The studio will release the saga in three distinct sets "to meet the needs of every Star Wars fan: Star Wars: The Complete Saga (a nine-disc set including all six films, priced at $139.99; Star Wars: Prequel Trilogy (a three-disc set including Episodes I-III, priced at $69.99); and Star Wars: Original Trilogy (a three-disc set including Episodes IV-VI, priced at $69.99).

Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray will feature all six live-action Star Wars feature films utilizing the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with three additional discs and more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more.

Contrary to what some hoped and others feared, no 3D Blu-ray announcement was made.

Penso que não corremos esse risco, vai ser o próprio Lucas a supervisionar tudo...... ;-)

Com efeitos extra, sem efeitos extra, em edições especiais, simples, em caixa de cartão, em VHS, em dvd, em Blu-ray... aí vai o Lucas vender tudo pela 57ª vez... :-)))

Cabeças näo deixas de ter razäo , o Lucas mais do que ninguém soube explorar este filäo que é a Star Wars mas mais do que os mil e um extras que poderäo aparecer e todas as variantes e marchandising etc o fundamental é mesmo ter pela primeira vez esta saga em alta-definiçäo. salut-)

Primeiro foi fundamental ter em VHS :-D Depois foi fundamental ter em DVD :-D agora passa a ser fundamental ter em BD.. :-D é com estás "fundamentalizações" que o senhor está sempre a encher os bolsos com uma mesma obra, mas pronto isto faz lembrar as 387 colectâneas dos Beatles, Elvis, e daqui em diante seguramente do Michael Jackson.

Pois a oportunidade vou tê-la... mas vou desperdiçá-la de bom grado! :-)))

Tenho tudo aqui em casa já comprado há anos (já com os melhoramentos digitais) com uma imagem que me satisfaz plenamente! :-D

O Lucas só me arrancava mais dinheiro se regressasse ao projecto inicial e decidisse fazer a 3ª trilogia, pois inicialmente pelo que sei ele tinha previsto 9 filmes.

Ele tem um novo projecto, mas vou abrir um tópico próprio para isso, acho que merece.

la Saga Completa presentará los seis títulos en 1920x1080p y que el sonido será 1080p de las películas, DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1 en inglés.

É mais que esperado , com certificação THX de certeza.

Apesar de haver N edições , esta ( em blu ) tenho que ter nem que seja "apenas" para ouvir os filmes com dts MA...
Banda sonora fantastica e efeitos sonoros brutais...aquela corrida do EP1 vai estar LINDA!
