Achei 2009 um ano fraco em termos de cinema. N vi alguns dos filmes nomeados, portanto posso ter perdido, alguma, ou até mesmo várias pérolas. Gostei do District 9, mas qd um filme como este está entre os nomeados a melhor filme do ano, alguma "coisa" n está bem. Para finalizar, desagrada-me este novo esticar para 10 nomeados, penso q é um estratagema de marketing apenas para levar mais pessoas ao cinema, desvalorizando, até, o q representava uma nomeação (mais restrita/selectiva) aos Óscares.

Qual foi a razão para passarem de 5 para 10 nomeados (Melhor Filme)?

Também não me cheira este alargar na categoria de melhor filme, podendo levar a que um certo joio se infiltre no trigo.

Não faço muitas previsões porque de facto este ano é complicado escolher um vencedor, mas acho que o Avatar vai ganhar em todas as categorias técnicas e possivelmente melhor filme e realizador.
Já me dava por satisfeita se o Jeff Bridges, por fim, ganhasse o óscar. Há muito que ele merece ser reconhecido e pelo que já vi do trailer de Crazy Heart, parece-me que ele tem o papel da vida dele.

O Jeff Bridges já teve meia dúzia de "papéis da vida dele" e, infelizmente, nunca ganhou. Sinceramente, de tão arrojada obra que tem, espero que não ganhe por um filme tão académico. Já chegou o Polanski com o Pianista.

Meryl Streep nomeada... e espero que ganhe!!! O que ela faz nos seus filmes - e neste está em grande - parece banal de tao natural que lhe sai, mas é, sem dúvida, extraordinário. Sandra Bullock não, por favor! Eu até gosto da moça. mas mais valia ter ganho pelo Speed!!

O Jeff Bridges já teve meia dúzia de "papéis da vida dele" e, infelizmente, nunca ganhou. Sinceramente, de tão arrojada obra que tem, espero que não ganhe por um filme tão académico. Já chegou o Polanski com o Pianista.

Discordo contigo nestas duas situações.
Não acho que o Crazy Heart seja um filme muito académico, aliás penso e pelo pouco que já vi pelo trailer, parece-me até um bom filme indie. Mas como reitero que ainda não vi o filme, é só uma mera primeira impressão. Espero bem que o Jeff Bridges ganhe com este filme porque tão cedo não terá hipóteses de ser nomeado outra vez.

A Meryl Streep é uma grande actriz...ninguém lhe retira o brilho de uma grande carreira, mas já satura!!! Já não consegue ser surpreendente, pelo menos para mim. A última grande interpretação dela foi As Pontes de Madison County onde ela esteve fenomenal, mas desde aí...parece que se tornou numa tradição nomear a Meryl Streep todos os anos.
