Fantasticas noticias, as 3 adaptações por completo (That Yellow Bastard, The Hard Goodbye e The Big Fat Kill)... Maravilha...

Segundo li, a cena que aparentemente inicia o filme é da curta 'The Costumer Is Always Right'.

GRANDE; GRANDE FILME

- É assim: Acho que não podem esperar mais de uma adaptação de BD que neste SIN CITY pois ele É BD!!!!!!

O ambiente BD é preservado sempre, digo-vos que me custou a habituar o primeiro quarto de hora foi dificil de engolir, depois entrou no espirito e adorei!

O único problema que vejo e que impede o filme de ser uma obra-prima (fica-se nesse campo pela realização) é o facto de serem muitas personagens e nenhuma recebe conveniente caracterização de personalidade... São todas ou quase todas muito superificiais, mas.... São personagens de BD....

Melhor: Rourke
Muito bom: Del Toro, Wood, Owen, Stahl, Alba, Willis
Bom: Hartnet; Murphy
Pior: Rosario Dawson (que pena) - acho que quis imitar a Hale Berry como catwoman... Não conseguiu entrar no espírito do filme

Banda Sonora: 10/10 - É um filme do Rodriguez...

Overall: 8/10

No género: 10/10 (não há comparação é um livro de BD em filme!)

O único problema que vejo e que impede o filme de ser uma obra-prima (fica-se nesse campo pela realização) é o facto de serem muitas personagens e nenhuma recebe conveniente caracterização de personalidade...

E se calhar isto é apenas o reforço da tua primeira frase "(...) é BD (...)". Ou seja, em BD penso que não há espaço para grandes caracterizações, quer pela realidade formal do meio, quer pelos objectivos habituais, que se limitam ao entertenimento rápido e ligeiro. Logo, se a adaptação abraça de forma tão fiel os princípios da BD, a ausência de profundidade na caracterização dos personagens é só... coerência.

Sim só sai em junho - para cinema... Parece que já houve algumas ante-estreias privadas para alguns...

JoBlo.com has posted an interesting rumor on what plans Robert Rodriguez might have for Sin City sequels. The site says:

Robert Rodriguez will be shooting back to back sequels for SIN CITY 2 and 3 starting February of next year for a release presumably summer of 2007. I guess the studio big wigs were satisfied with the commercial and critical appeal of the uber-cool SIN CITY that they jumped on the shooting back to back sequels bandwagon.

Uma olhadela hoje pelo IMDB e tal como eu previa, discussões giram à volta da violência (muita, parece) gráfica do filme e vá lá, sempre existe alguma nudez (thanks Premiere pela melhor confirmação

), graças à boa vontade da pouco conhecida Jamie King no papel de Goldie (e Wendy) e pelos vistos da Carla Gugino. Parece que só a pseudo-casta-puritana-virgin-teen da Jessica Alba é que não foi pela arte na cena do bar.

Já tive possibilidade de ver outro trailer, desta vez no cinema e fiquei arrebatado. Excelente, para mim a expectativa está no ponto. Venha Junho rapidamente.

Sin City 2 segue para a frente:

Frank Miller has already begun scripting Sin City 2, which he will co-direct with Robert Rodriguez, reports Screen Daily. The project will be jointly owned by Disney and the WeinsteinCo.

Speaking at Cannes Film Festival's annual luncheon for international distributors hosted by the Weinsteins, Miller said it was too early to announce casting but did confirm the project will be shot entirely on green screen, like the first film.

Miller was part of a large Sin City contingent that flew into town ahead of today's competition screening. Stars in attendance included Mickey Rourke, Benicio Del Toro, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen and Brittany Murphy.

The $40 million-budgeted Sin City has earned $72.9 million domestically.

Baseado na obra 'A Dame to Kill For':

While talking about Sin City at the Cannes Film Festival last week, co-writer and co-director Robert Rodriguez confirmed what storyline you can expect for the sequel. BBC reports:

Rodriguez, who wore his trademark cowboy hat, said he was pleased to be in Cannes, the "home" of film noir.

He added work had already started on a sequel to Sin City, and would feature many of the same characters.

He added that the next film would be based on Miller's book, A Dame to Kill For.

Dark Horse describes "A Dame to Kill For" as follows:

It's one of those hot nights, dry and windless. The kind that makes people do sweaty, secret things. Para quem estiver interessado, a história já tem edição em português, pela Devir, "Mulher Fatal".
