O King Kong original era ele próprio todo visual com stop motion às pazadas. Acho que se pinta esse filme com ouro de mais. É um simples monster movie cheio de efeitos especiais, hoje só porque é velho pinta-se uma obra prima ali. Foi pioneiro, sim, mas pioneiro dos efeitos especiais, não do cinema de qualidade.

Pois,para mim,"King Kong" é o melhor "remake" jamais feito .
Quando se discute muito a qualidade dos remakes e a própria existência deles em catadupa actualmente comparando-os com o original.Não tenho dúvidas nenhumas que o filme de Peter Jackson cilindra completamente em tudo os outros King Kongs.
É um espectáculo impar,prodigiosamente escrito,memorávelmente interpretado(Naomi Watts,faz um assombroso desempenho,desgastante,intenso,avassalador),.É um filme com sequencias de ficar de boca a aberta,para além de ter uma realização apotéotica,é um filme recheado de afectos e em que os actores não estão a fazer número.
Enfim,um hino ao cinema que perde e muito sendo visto em casa.
É para ser visto em sala.
10/10 .
Sobre Hobbit,acho muito bem que Jackson faça este filme,foi ele que concluiu a saga é ele que deve começá-la.Em boa hora Del Toro se foi embora.Tirando "O Labirinto de Fauno" que é bom filme mas pouco mais do que isso,a saga é de Jackson por isso é ele que deve filmá-la.
Ainda bem que vai ser ele .

Tenho seguido as novidades sobre o "Hobbit" (não podia ser de outra forma, sou fã do livro ), mas desta ainda não sabia! ;) Acho excelente irem manter tantos dos actores que entraram no "Senhor dos Anéis"!

On topic: Fui ver há uns dias o "Ondine". Boa história, belas representações e, para quem aprecia (que é o meu caso), paisagens bem bonitas da Irlanda! Gostei bastante e tenho pena que tenha ido para tão poucos cinemas. E o realizador até é o Neil Jordan, que não é exactamente um desconhecido...

Há rumores também que o Orlando Bloom pode voltar como Legolas. A verdade é que no livro a personagem dele não é referida, mas acho que faz sentido sendo ele filho do Rei Elfo de Mirkwood

Elijah Wood Confirmed for The Hobbit

Since it was announced, The Hobbit has spawned rumors that characters from the original three films would make an appearance despite their not appearing specifically in the original text of J.R.R. Tolkein's novel.

Earlier today, Deadline offered more specific details, indicating that the actors likely to return include Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood in addition to the more obvious potential casting of Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis (whose characters both play prominent roles in the original story).

UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after Deadline suggested that Elijah Wood would be returning, ComingSoon.net has received confirmation from the actor's reps that Wood will indeed be returning and that he's confirmed to star in the film. They've also informed us that Wood and comedian Eddie Izzard will be starring in the SKY TV mini-series based on Robert Louis Stevenson's literary classic "Treasure Island," playing Ben Gunn. It will be directed by Steve Barron, who directed the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as some of the classic music videos of the '80s including "Video Killed the Radio Star."

The two Hobbit films are expected to go into production next month.

hmm, estou um bocado mixed sobre o Frodo voltar, segundo li, vai aparecer tipo no inicio, não se sabe antes ou depois dos eventos do Senhor dos Anéis, como que a narrar a história a partir do livro do Bilbo "There and back Again" que relata a história do Hobbit, pelos vistos vai ser tipo um flashback... Acho desnecessário, mas estou confiante que o PJ consiga dar algum sentido á presença do Frodo que na altura do Hobbit, ainda nem era nascido.

Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis returning to "The Hobbit"


The laundry list of casting notices for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" havr mysteriously excluded a pair of well known names from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, actors whose characters appear throughout J.R. Tolkein's Middle Earth saga: Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis. The Brits seem to have locked down their participation after reports today that both actors have made deals to appear in the two-part "Hobbit."

McKellen is set to reprise his role as the powerful wizard Galdalf the Grey (not to be confused with Gandalf the White) and Serkis will have a small, but pivotal return as the precious loving Gollum. Warner Bros. has confirmed Serkis return to HitFix, but won't jump on the news that McKellen will be back (yet). It's clear the legendary thespian's participation is becoming more difficult to negotiate than either side had anticipated.

Other reports indicate that 88-year-old Christopher Lee will be back as Saruman and Ian Holm will cameo as the elder version of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman is already on board to play the younger version of the character). Heat Vision also says an offer is on the table for Orlando Bloom to return as Legolas, but it's unclear whether he will accept.

Casting will have to wrap up soon as "The Hobbit" is scheduled to begin shooting next month in New Zealand.

Peter Jackson começa a filmar «O Hobbit» na Nova Zelândia


O realizador Peter Jackson começou esta segunda-feira na Nova Zelândia as filmagens de «O Hobbit», prelúdio da trilogia «O Senhor dos Anéis», após superar meses de contínuos atrasos, informou o cineasta em comunicado.
O realizador neozelandês, de 50 anos, afirmou que o elenco - liderado por Martin Freeman como o hobbit Bilbo Bolseiro e Ian McKellen no personagem do mago Gandalf - ficou assim fechado para os preparativos do filme.

Elijah Wood, Christopher Lee, Cate Blanchett e Orlando Bloom repetirão os mesmos papéis que encarnaram em «O Senhor dos Anéis», vencedor de 13 Óscares.

Problemas de financiamento, um esforço de greve de actores e uma úlcera de Jackson puseram em xeque a produção, que consistirá em duas partes, com um orçamento de 500 milhões de dólares.

Devido aos atrasos, o realizador mexicano Guillermo del Toro retirou-se do projecto em Maio de 2010, embora tenha continuado com a sua colaboração na elaboração dos argumentos.

Em Outubro de 2010, as produtoras estiveram a ponto de levar a filmagem para outro país, após os problemas salariais com os sindicatos de actores locais, mas o governo neozelandês intermediou e aceitou modificar a lei laboral para salvar o projecto.

A história de «O Hobbit» transcorre na Terra Média descrita em «O Senhor dos Anéis», o mundo de ficção criado por J.R.R. Tolkien, e está previsto que a primeira parte chegue aos cinemas em 2012.
