Descrição traduzida do idioma checo da Wikipedia
Ecstasy is an internationally popular Czech film prewar period. [1] In 1932 , directed by Gustav Machatý . The film drew attention to its artistic values, but at the same time it causedscandalwith its erotic scenes. The audience and the critics were most excited, but they also infuriated the longer scene with the naked principal. [1] This scene was one of the first cases of female nudity in the movie. [2] It was such a shock to the society that the film was even condemned by the Pope Pius XII. Adolf Hitler even forbade him in Germany . In most copies ( American and European ), scenes with a naked actress were cut out.

The story of the film tells about the relationship of a young married woman (Hedy Kiesler) whose husband can not satisfy her and a young engineer (Aribert Mog) with whom the young woman finally experiences love excitement. Their relationship ends after husband suicide. The starting point of the crisis is a woman in maternity and her lover in a beneficial job. [1]

Curiosidades
Was the first (non pornographic) film to depict a woman's orgasm.

First non-pornographic movie with a (faked) sex-scene.

The erotic close-ups of Hedy Lamarr's face in the throes of passion were aided, she says, by the director unexpectedly jabbing her in the derriere with a pin in order to get the desired expressions on her face.

This film was banned from importation into the United States by the Department of the Treasury in January 1935.

Hedy Lamarr lied about her age when she auditioned for the film. She was, in fact, only 17.

Pope Pius XII publicly denounced the film.

The song in the outdoor café is performed by the famous Comedian Harmonists.

Allegedly the first-ever film to portray a female orgasm on-screen, causing outrage in both Hitler's Germany and the United States.

Führer was the unique title granted by Adolf Hitler to himself, in his function as Vorsitzender (chairman) of the Nazi Party. It was at the time common to refer to party leaders as Führer, with an addition to indicate the leader of which party was meant. Hitler's adoption of the title was partly inspired by its earlier use by the Austrian Georg von Schönerer, a major exponent of pan-Germanism and German nationalism in Austria, whose followers also commonly referred to him as the Führer without qualification, and who also used the Heil Hitler salute, known as the "German greeting".[3] Hitler's choice for this political epithet was unprecedented in Germany. Like much of the early symbolism of Nazi Germany, it was modeled after Benito Mussolini's Italian Fascism. Mussolini's chosen epithet il Duce ("the Leader"), from the Latin Dux, was widely used, though, unlike Hitler, he never made it his official title. The Italian word Duce (unlike the German word Führer) is no longer used as a generic term for a leader, but almost always refers to Mussolini himself.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (/ˈroʊzəvəlt/;[1] January 30, 1882 – April 12, 1945), often referred to by his initials FDR, was an American statesman and political leader who served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 until his death in 1945. A Democrat, he won a record four presidential elections and became a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century. Roosevelt directed the United States federal government during most of the Great Depression, implementing his New Deal domestic agenda in response to the worst economic crisis in U.S. history. As a dominant leader of his party, he built the New Deal Coalition, realigning American politics into the Fifth Party System and defining American liberalism throughout the middle third of the 20th century. His third and fourth terms were dominated by World War II. He is often rated by scholars as one of the three greatest U.S. Presidents, along with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
