Estrelada por Elisabeth Moss, que levou uma estatueta como melhor atriz, "The Handmaid's Tale" levou ainda como melhor série, melhor atriz coadjuvante (Ann Dowd), melhor direção e melhor roteiro - tudo nas categorias de drama. Isso torna o Hulu, responsável pela produção, o primeiro serviço de streaming de vídeos a ganhar um Emmy de melhor série.
