Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson), a mysterious billionaire, has developed a computer program that predicts the identity of people connected to violent crimes that will take place in the future. However, the program has its limitations; for example, it cannot predict whether the person will be a victim, perpetrator, or witness, nor can it predict when or where the crime will take place. Unable to stop the crimes on his own, Finch hires John Reese (Jim Caviezel), a former CIA field officer who is presumed dead, to help stop the crimes from taking place.
The pilot episode establishes that Finch originally built the machine for the government as a means to prevent another 9/11-type disaster, but found that it was also predicting many "irrelevant" crimes. Finch built a backdoor into the machine that, before erasing the "irrelevant data" each night, sends Finch a single Social Security number of someone involved in one of those crimes. Finch also reveals that the world thinks that he, like Reese, is dead.

Muito bom este pilot, cheio de acção e com uma história sólida, a série foi criada pelo Johnatan Nolan, esperemos que consiga convencer o irmão a dar uma mão e realizar um episódio. Jim Caviezel is a bad ass motherfucker.

a premissa é muito boa e ainda bem que foi revelado pouco sobre ela.
o John apesar de eu perceber a mudança dele, passa com alguma rapidez a trabalhar para o Finch
as cenas de acção estão muito boas, e as câmaras transmitem um sentimento de paranóia
Eu gostei muito, há algum tempo que uma série não me fascinava tanto logo de início, o que é mau sinal, as duas anteriores, Flashforward e The Event foram canceladas...
O trailer é muito bem sucedido em encher-nos a boca de água, disso não haja dúvidas. Os nomes envolvidos no projecto também estão num patamar que já não precisam de apresentações. O meu problema é que vejo filmes a mais...

Ainda não vi o ultimo episódio mas ao contrario de algumas séries que começaram muito bem e depois caíram um pouco na qualidade, esta tem se mantido muito bem , tanto em qualidade como em audiência.

O penúltimo episódio foi o culminar de um arco que já durava alguns episódios, este ultimo parece tocar num outro arco relativo ao seu passado. A por ai muitas séries onde esse problema é bem pior.

Nao diria realista mas tem um componente mais brutal do que e habitual nestas series, as pessoas morrem, nem sempre acaba tudo bem e alguns rumos e argumentos sao brilhantes. Isto e, as historias em si em cada episodio nao sao nada de mais mas algumas falas chegam as vezes a ser excelentes, literarias mesmo sem cair em cliches.
