Warner Home Video have announced the HD DVD release of three classics on 14th November 2006. Making their debuts are the incomparable Casablanca, the spectacular 1962 Marlon Brando remake of Mutiny on the Bounty, and the 50th Anniversary edition of Forbidden Planet, which is being released day-and-date with its Standard Definition version.
Forbidden Planet will be available as a 50th Anniversary HD DVD and as an Ultimate Collectors Edition packaged in a stunning metal case that includes the HD DVD, a collectible Robby the Robot replica with moveable limbs, Forbidden Planet and The Invisible Boy reproduction lobby cards portfolio, as well as a Forbidden Planet original theatrical poster mail-in offer.
Retail is $28.99 SRP each, except for the Forbidden Planet Ultimate Collector’s Edition which retails at $59.92 SRP. Casablanca and Mutiny on the Bounty bonus materials on the Standard Definition versions of these titles will be included on the HD DVD versions.

Quanto a discos os da Warner não têm legendas em PT, mas os da Universal sim.
Ora aí estão títulos que me interessam ver em HD. Para ver quais as melhorias em relação ao SD. Blocks, que se lixe, já se sabe que a tecnologia ajudará. Estes mais antigos, quero ter melhor a ideia se vale a pena continuar a apostar em dvd ou começar já a pensar que alguns poderão esperar pelo HD.
Quero ver filmes dos anos 20/30 em HD, o mais rápido possível!
