Sinopse: "The USSR, 1957 – time of hope and genuine belief that the future will undoubtedly be bright. The Soviet satellite is conquering space, and on the Earth, in a little port city, the bright beaming eyes of Konyok and Lara - a naive restaurant cook and his waitress girlfriend - follow the movement of the satellite with hope and excitement. Their romance is disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious stranger, Gherman. He knows for sure that one can not run away from this country. One can only fly. Or swim. The guys are absolutely different: the first is a provincial and simple one, the other is a cynical newcomer from the big world. Their strange relationship resembles boxing which was the initial reason of their acquaintance: it is kicked off with punches, blood, and cut lips. But everything that happens to them makes them closer and closer – but how will it end?"

Pessoalmente não gostei muito do enredo do filme, por achá-lo desinteressante, de resto o filme está muito bem feito.
Não se guiem pelos meus gostos, porque por exemplo eu também acho o "Taxi Driver" desinteressante, pelo mesmo motivo.
O que eu posso dizer objectivamente, para dar uma ideia melhor do filme, é que o enredo tem lógica e é fácil de acompanhar. A história é simples e universal, sem nenhum pretensiosismo.
Este é o mesmo realizador do filme "The Edge", de que gostei muito. Eu aqui notei a mesma qualidade e dedicação que ele teve no "The Edge".
Talvez escreva mais qualquer coisa depois, mas tentem dar uma vista de olhos na crítica da escritora, que indiquei na ficha técnica, para decidirem se o filme vos interessa.
Os filmes deste realizador não são todos iguais, nem da mesma corrente de cinema, já percebi que o homem gosta de variar os estilos. vi também o "Giselle's Mania", de que ainda gostei menos do que este "Dreaming of Space", mas nesse filme os motivos de eu não gostar são outros.
Para quem já viu o "The Edge", quero indicar que li na página russa do wikipédia, que o autor aí quis fazer um filme que interessasse a uma faixa etária dos 5 aos 80 anos, o que não é o caso aqui no "Dreaming of Space", em que o enredo já não interessa a tanta gente.
Já agora, o último filme dele é de acção policial, sobre crime e máfia, espreitem o trailer:
E o filme que ele está a terminar agora com estreia prevista para Março de 2017, está a ser alvo de censura pela Igreja Ortodoxa Russa, que já apresentou queixas-crime ao governo russo, para prenderem o realizador.
Ele contratou um actor porno alemão para o personagem principal do Czar Nicolau II, que é também um santo da Igreja Ortodoxa. 
Aos poucos vou tentar ir fazendo fichas técnicas dos filmes deste realizador, que até nem são muitos.
